This engine was supplied new to George Harness, a threshing contractor in Yorkshire.

Then it was bought in the early 1940's by Mr T. Swain of Boston, Lincashire, where it was used for contract work including threshing, sawing and forestry.

It was then bought by Mr J. Dawson from Swains Yard in 1960 for £100.

Its first rally was at Skegness in 1960.

It was sold again in 1966 to Mr. P. C. Bath and rebuilt by Eastern Boiler Works of Saffron Walden.

It was bought by Mr J. Williams of Redruth in November 2009, who has also carried out extensive restoration to bring it up to its current condition.[1]
