Tinsmiths, sheet metal workers, lamp makers, brass founders, gas fitters, etc.

Adshead's 1851 Maps of Manchester show Marsh & Co's Tin Plate Works on Newton Street, occupying one third of a block bounded by Newton, Warwick, Dean, and Friday Street. The factory was overshadowed by the Newton Street Mills of Thomas Houldsworth and Co.
