Marcus Harty (c1819-1879), the engineer of the Dublin and Drogheda Railway
1819 Born at Dublin the son of Robert Way Harty and his wife Elizabeth Davis
1879 December 08th. Died at his residence, Prospect Hall, Roebuck, Dundrum, Marcus Harty, Esq, second son of the late Sir Robert Way Harty. Bart., of Prospect Hall, Roebuck, Co. Dublin, aged 60 years.[1]
1880 Probate to his sister Elizabeth Henrietta Harty, spinster, of Prospect Hall.
Note: 1899 Mention of Professor Marcus Harty of Cork who may be a relation.[2]
