1888 'These were used for fulling serges, and had three water wheels. The S.W. wheel was altered and changed into grist and grit mill, by the late J. P. Wilcocks, about 1840 to 1842. It now used entirely a flour mill. One water wheel alone, of greater breadth being now used.'[1]
