London and Suburban Traction Co

1912 The London and Suburban Traction Company was formed by British Electric Traction Co and the Underground Electric Railways Co with the purpose of taking over three existing tram service providers:
- London United Tramways,
- Metropolitan Electric Tramways
- South Metropolitan Electric Tramways and Lighting Co.
1913 The tram companies were acquired. The company's trams operated mainly in the north of London.
1931 London United introduced the first trolleybus on converted tram lines in the Kingston area[1].
1933 The undertakings of the company became part of the London Passenger Transport Board. The company was then liquidated[2]
The decision was made to phase out trams to be replaced by motor buses and trolley buses
1952 The last tram ran in London
