1894 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Henry Lightbown and Eli Leach, carrying on business as Cotton Manufacturers, at Springfield Mill, Bolton-road, Darwen, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of Lightbown and Leach, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as and from the 1st day of February, 1894. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Eli Leach, who, in conjunction with Edmund Catlow Leach, will continue to carry on the business under the style or firm of Leach and Son...'[2]
