1901 Living at Thyra House, Ramsgate: Lewis Longfield (age 26 born Cirencester), Civil Engineer. With his wife Olive Longfield (age 28 born Cirencester) and their two sons Theodore Longfield (age 1 born Brighton) and Richard J. Longfield (age 3 months born Ramsgate).[1]

1911 Listed as Manager of Calcot Nurseries, near Reading.[3]

1914 July. Advertisement in Brazilian newspaper.[4]

1914 September. Lately an automobile engineer in Rio de Janeiro.[5]
