'...the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by the undersigned, George Howard Laxton and William Simmons the younger, under the style or firm of Laxton and Simmons, at the Britannia Works, Jordan Well, in the city of Coventry, in the trade or business of Bicycle, Tricycle, Perambulator, Bath Chair Wheel Manufacturers and Machinists, was this day dissolved by mutual consent...'[1]
