1896 Laurence Henderson, Sons and Company Limited was registered, with total share capital of £40,000, and offered for public subscription, to acquire and develop the firm of the same name. The assets of the company were largely concentrated in Leith, but also included the Clydeside Preserve Works, Law, Carluke.[1]

1899 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
