1857 Company founded.

1901 Public company. The company was registered on 19 March, to acquire a business carried on under the same title of iron and tin-plate workers, brass founders etc. [1]

1917 Advert. Machinery for bleaching, dyeing, Calico printing and finishing. [2]

1961 Engineers, iron and brass founders, sheet metal workers. Manufacturers of machinery for coke oven plant, rolling mill plant for steelworks, collieries, gas works, electricity stations, nuclear energy, rubber works, motor industry, chemical plant, paper making, brickworks. Mechanical-handling plant, conveyors, elevators, stackers etc, troughing idlers and conveyor drying stoves, structural steelwork, hoppers and bunkers.
