LIVERPOOL AND DROGHEDA SERVICE.[1]

The Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway under their Steam Vessels Act of 1902 obtained authority to acquire the undertaking of the Drogheda Steam Packet Co, and to run steamers between the ports of Liverpool, Fleetwood and Drogheda.

The service, however, was only maintained between Liverpool and the Irish port.

The steamers taken over from the D.S.P. Co. were the TREDAGH, NORA CREINA, KATHLEEN MAVOURNEEN, and the IVERNA. Appended are particulars of these steamers at the date of transfer.
