1923 The Lafarge Aluminous Cement Co was formed with its registered address at Regent House, Kingsway, to work in this country under an agreement with the Societe Anonyme des Chaux et Ciments de Lafarge et du Teil, the French company, where they acquired the sole selling and manufacturing rights in respect of "Ciment Fondu" for Great Britain and Ireland.[1]
