1955 Five companies founded Tufted Carpets Ltd[1] whose products would be sold as Kosset Carpets[2] - the companies were Carpet Manufacturing Co, John Crossley-Carpet Trade Holdings, Brintons, James Templeton, T. Bond Worth[3]

1956 Factory at Brighouse acquired to make the new fabric[4]

By 1965, Thomas Bond Worth had ended its association with Kosset[5]

1968 John Crossley-Carpet Trades Holdings Ltd of Halifax and the Carpet Manufacturing Co Ltd of Kidderminster bought out the interests of their other 2 partners[6]

1969 Carpets International was formed by the merger of John Crossley-Carpet Trades Holdings Ltd and the Carpet Manufacturing Co Ltd and the consolidation of their interests in Kosset Carpets Ltd[7].

1985 Kosset was acquired by John Crowther which was then acquired by Coloroll in 1988

1990 Management buyout after Coloroll's collapse[8]

1991 Acquired brand name, designs rights and some of the plant and machinery from Crossley Carpets[9]
