1905 Built by Vickers, Sons and Maxim

This was a Japanese Battleship armed with four 12-inch, four 10-inch, twelve 6-inch, and smaller guns. 15,950 tons displacement. Two four-cylinder triple-expansion engines with cylinders 35.5 in., 56 in., and 63 in., (two low-pressure cylinders per engine), with a stroke of 48 in. The steam pressure at the Niclausse-type boilers was 230 psi.[1]
