K. T. Fulton, Graduate, served an apprenticeship with the de Havilland Engine Co Ltd following which he worked as technical assistant in the chief engineer's department. Concurrently, he also obtained a private pilot's licence and flew with the RAFVR.

In 1952, he joined the editorial staff of The Aeroplane where he wrote on propulsion matters, until in 1957 he returned to de Havilland to work on public relations.

In 1960, he was appointed Aero Engine Division press officer of Rolls-Royce Ltd, later becoming Company press officer.

After a brief period as deputy public relations manager of Bristol Siddeley Engines Ltd, he joined an industrial plant manufacturer as PR manager. Mr Fulton has been a contributor on aero engines to a variety of aviation journals and publications and is currently engaged in writing a history of the world's aircraft gas turbines.
