1824 Established by John Needham.

c. 1848 Business taken over by Joseph Pickering.

1873 Diploma of Merit, Vienna.

1906 Built an additional factory on Moore Street, Sheffield for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.

1980s As demand for its cleaning products declined, the company focused on the production of cardboard boxes. The Burton Road and Moore Street factories were closed and production of cardboard boxes moved to a more modern factory on Little London Road, Sheffield.

2009 Company liquidated.[1]
