ca.1877 Born in Londonderry the son of James Young, a Coachbuilder and his wife Anna Frances McCoy.

1901 Living at Tweedy Road, Bromley: James Young (age 55 born Ireland), Coach Builder - Employer. With his wife Ann Frances Young (age 48 born Ireland) and their seven children; Joseph Orr Young (age 24 born Ireland), Coach Builder Manager; Mary Anna Young (age 22 born Ireland); Frances E. Hill Young (age 20 born Ireland); Sara Young (age 19 born Ireland); James Hill Young (age 13 born Ireland); Annette Moffat Young (age 16 born Ireland); and Margaret Hence Young (age 11 born Ireland).[1]
