Engine Builder and Millwright, iron shipbuilder and boiler maker, of South Shore, Gateshead (see advert)

The business of Jonathan Robson (d.1844)

1828/9 Millwright of Gateshead - presumably this business was later taken on by his son Jonathan

1851 Exhibited a model of an iron steam-tug or passenger steamer at the Great Exhibition.

Early 1850s Jonathan's son, Jonathan, operated a steam-tug building yard at Ouseburn

Later he moved to the Blackwall Engine and Iron Shipbuilding Works at Poplar.
