1840 Born in Southwark, son of Joseph and Mary Wilkinson

1861 An engineer, living in Southwark with his parents[1]

1877 Married Fanny Ellis in Croydon[2]

1880 Baptism of his daughter, Alice; he was recorded as an engineer, living in Greenwich[3]

1881 Fanny Wilkinson 34, married, was boarding in Woolwich with her daughter Alice Wilkinson 18 months[4]

1891 Fanny Wilkinson 44, married, lived in West Ham with Alice M Wilkinson 11, John Wilkinson 7, and her mother Georgiana Ellis[5]

Sometime in the 1890s John Willis Wilkinson died

1901 Fanny Wilkinson 54, living on own means in Carshalton was a widow; her children were Alice M Wilkinson 21, John Wilkinson 19[6]

1911 Fanny Wilkinson, of Hastings, died age 65, and was buried in Norwood Cemetery[7]
