JOHN STRICK died in London on January 22, 1903. He was the son of Mr. William Strick, of Swansea, and was born in 1838. He was a mining engineer of eminence.
He was an enthusiastic volunteer and commanded the 1st Shropshire and Staffordshire Volunteer Artillery. He was a Companion of the Order of the Bath, and held the Volunteer Decoration for long service.
He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1880.
