Graduated from Cornell University with degree of Mechanical Engineer. Head of the Transformer Engineering Department, Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Co., Pittsburg, U.S.A., from 1895 to 1904. With British Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Co., Ltd., as Consulting Electrical Engineer and Chief Electrical Engineer from 1904 to 1919. Present Position: Chief Electrical Engineer, Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co., Ltd., Trafford Park, Manchester. Various contributions to engineering societies and technical press. Member of the Engineers' Club, Manchester.
