1897 Married at Birchfield to Amelia Elizabeth Lee. John is of Witton Road, Aston, and a Cycle maker.

1911 Living at 83 Soho Road, Handsworth, Staff: John Ridgway (age 42 born Hanley), Cycle Maker - Employer. With his wife Amelia Elizabeth Ridgway and their son John Ridgeway (age 12 born Birmingham).[1]

1939 Listed in the Rubery Hill Mental Hospital.[2]
