1958 K. L. Holdings Ltd was formed by the Kydd and Line families to acquire wallpaper manufacturers Shand Kydd Ltd and merchant John Line and Sons Ltd.

1961 Wall Paper Manufacturers acquired a majority interest in K. L. Holdings Ltd.
