Established in 1814 in Leather Lane, Holborn, by John Cooke (formerly of H.M. Stationery Office). Partnership Successions: (1) John Cooke (eldest son of the founder); (2) John Frederic Cooke (his eldest son).
1914 Present Principal: Percy Chambers Cooke (since 1894), younger brother of J. F. Cooke. Speciality: All the higher grades of Sealing Wax; also Steel Pens and other Stationers' Goods. Hold several Patents.
