1914 Sir John Barker, Bart., J.P. (Chairman), Francis Barker, S. M. Skinner, R. Millbourn, and H. Tilbury. Secretary: H. W. Over. Inaugurated as a cash draper's with two houses, at once began to increase, and at the present time over sixty houses are utilised. The departments number seventy, and include stocks of all descriptions of goods usually supplied by general stores.
1914 Messrs. Barker offered a range of motor accessories; they had made special arrangements for the supply of motor fuel and lubricants.
