(John) Arthur Berrington (1851-1934)

1851 Born the son of Samuel R. Berrington, Land Owner, and his wife Ann

1873 Arthur Berrington was employed as an architectural draughtsman at the Dock Yard of Liverpool Docks. He was due to retire from there in 1916, but agreed to stay on until after WW1, finally leaving in 1919.[1]

1911 Living at Bon Accord, Prenton, Birkenhead: John Arthur Berrington (age 59 born Liverpool), Architect - Dock Board. With his wife Mary Berrington (age 56 born Alva, Banaffshire) and their daughter Dorothea Alice Berrington (age 20 born Birkenhead). Married 25 years with two children. One servant.[2]
