James Watson (1844-1919), Bradford Corporation Waterworks, engineer.

Son of James Watson, a farmer.

1860 Apprentice.

1875 Associate Inst Civil Engineers, engineer to Dundee Corporation Water Works.

1885 Member of Inst Civil Engineers

1886 Engineer to Dundee Water Committee, for whom he tested the suitability of steel pipes for water mains.[1]

1896 He was waterworks engineer at Bradford Town Hall.
