James Templeton (1813-1869) of the Mansion House School, Exeter

1813 July 28th. Born at Aberdeen.

1851 Living at Mansion House, David's Hill, Exeter: James Templeton (age 37 born Scotland), Schoolmaster. With his wife Emma, two daughters, three sons. Also two school assistants and twenty boarder pupils aged from 9-16. Also five servants.[1]

1861 Living at Mansion House, David's Hill, Exeter: James Templeton (age 47 born Scotland), Schoolmaster. With his wife Emma, three sons and a nephew. Three assistant masters. Five servants. 43 boarder pupils.[2]

1869 April 16th. Died in London after an operation.[3]
