James Edward Hyde Andrew (1839-1880) of J. E. H. Andrew and Co

1839 Born in Ashton-under-Lyne the eldest child of Ralph and his wife Maria Hyde.

1862 Patent sealed: 'James Edward Hyde Andrew, of Audenshaw, machinist, for improvements in looms for weaving. Dated April 9th, 1862.'[1]

1868 'LOCAL ASSIGNMENTS, COMPOSITION, INSPECTORSHIP, AND TRUST DEEDS. .... James Edward Hyde Andrew and Charles Henry Andrew, both of 19, Canal-street, Ancoats, Manchester engineers and machinists, composition of 5s. in the pound, within one month from date of deed.'[2]

1880 September 29th. Died, a machine maker of Brinnington. Probate to his widow Eliza Howard Andrew and his brother Charles Henry Andrew.
