1870 Born the son of James Bowling Clabour

1911 Living at Oxford House, Guiseley: James Arthur Clabour (age 40 born Guisley), Steam Engine and Pump Maker - Employer. With his wife Martha, daughter Irene and son Donald Smithson Clabour (age 11 born Guiseley).[1]

1929 Died. 'MR. J. A. CLABOUR, GUISELEY. The death occurred yesterday of Mr. James A. Clabour, of Oxford House, Guiseley, principal the firm of J. B. Clabour, engineers, Guiseley. Mr. Clabour, who was in his 59th year, was apparently in his usual health on Tuesday, and became ill early yesterday. The business with which he was associated was established by his father, the late Mr. J. B. Clabour. He leaves a widow and one son and daughter.'[2]
