1886 Company dissolved. '...the firm of King, Hamwell, and Co., who carried on business under the style of the Brighton Bicycle and Tricycle Company, at the Viaduct Bicycle and Tricycle Works, London-road, Brighton, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. The business at that address will in future be carried on by Mr. J. V. King...'[1]

1887 Receiving order. John Vincent King, 83A, Preston-road, residing at 80, Springfield road, Preston Park, both in Brighton, Sussex, Bicycle and Tricycle Agent.[2]
