"Mills.—On October 13, at Longfields, Cemetery Road, Lye, Mr. J. Mills, aged seventy-four. He was formerly in business with his father as a "spade and shovel manufacturer at Pedmore Road, Lye, and was also interested in works at Kinver, and Drews, Holloway. Latterly he had travelled for Yardley & Co. (Stourbridge) (Lim.), spade and shovel manufacturers, of Stourbridge. He had served on the old School Board, the Parish Council, and the Urban Council."
