John McConachie Rollo (1901-1985) of Barrmor Tool Works and Dempster, Moore and Co

1901 September 06th. Born at Edinburgh the son of David Andrew Rollo and his wife Elizabeth McConachie

Married Alice Raeside Auld and had three children

1930 John M'Conachie Rollo, engineer, Ardgrochan, Lennoxtown concerning Dempster, Moore and Co.[1]

1944 Flying-Officer John M. Rollo, of Bonnybridge.[2]

1946 Pilot's licence at Loch Leven Flying Club no. 21,841

1953 'Highlands Voluntary Development Association, of which Mr J. M. Rollo, of Bonnybridge, is one of the pioneers.'[3]

1954 Patent GB796151A Improvements in or relating to motor vehicles

1956 'John M. Rollo, engineer, leaves Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, every Friday night, drives 140 miles to die Island of Seil, Argyll, tends the crops on his croft during Saturday then drives home to Lennoxtown...'[4]

1985 September 30th. Died at Glasgow.
