1825 Born in London, son of James and Charlotte Jullion, an accompaniest[1]

1854 Patent by John Louis Jullion, of Combe House, Tovil, Kent, Analytical Chemist, for the invention of "separating certain vegetable fibres from mixed fabrics for various useful purposes."[2]

1855 Patent by John Louis Jullion, of Combe House, Tovil, Kent, Analytical Chemist, in respect of the invention of "the manufacture of paper, card, and mill-board, from certain vegetable productions."[3]

1857 Patent on Separation of Solids from Fluids

1857 Patent on Improvements in Paper making with James Bertram, engineer of Edinburgh[4]

1858 Left the partnership of C. T. Cook and Co, paper makers, of Snodland Mill, Kent[5]

1859 Patent by John Louis Jullion, Paper Maker, of Stoneywood Works, Aberdeen, N.B., in respect of the invention of "improvements in the manufacture of paper."[6]

1859 Patent by John Louis Jullion and Gordon Pirie, both of Stoneywood Works, Aberdeen, North Britain, Paper Makers, in "respect of the invention of "the manufacture of gelatine."[7] and another in respect of "the manufacture of gelatine, and apparatus to be employed therein."[8] and another in respect of "an improvement in the manufacture of paper."[9]

1860 Patent by John Louis Jullion and Gordon Pirie, both of Stoneywood Works, Aberdeen, North Britain, Paper Makers, in respect of the invention of "an improvement in the manufacture of paper."[10]

1861 Patent by John Louis Jullion, of Tynemouth, Chemist, for the invention of "improvements in the construction of the bearings and other rubbing surfaces of machinery." — A communication to him from abroad by S. M. Saunders, of New York[11]
