1866 Joseph J. Seekings left Belliss and Seekings in Birmingham

He started his own engineering business in Gloucester, presumably Seekings and Ellery and then established this company.

1884 William Cadbury started as a junior in the engineering shop, for 2 years[1]

1889 W. Sisson and Co took over the small engineering works of J. J. Seekings near the Docks
