1904 J. G. Thomson and Company Limited was registered, with capital of £140,000, to acquire as a going concern the business of distillers, blenders, and wine merchants previously carried on under the same name.[1]

1921 The company went into voluntary liquidation. The liquidator was given the power to sell the whole or part of the assets of the company to a new company, to be formed, called J. G. Thomson and Company Limited.[2]
