1900 The company was registered on 25 May, to acquire the lime, cement and brick works of the firm of the same name. [1]
1910 Purchased a very large steam excavator (face shovel), designed by A R Grossmith, from Rubery, Owen and Co[2]
1911 The Lime and Cement Businesses were sold to the British Portland Cement Manufacturers
1914 Directors: Halley Stewart, J.P. (Chairman), Percy Malcolm Stewart, J.P. (Managing Director), and Benjamin Christmas Forder, J.P.
1923 Acquired the London Brick Co to form the London Brick Company and Forders.[3]
