1910 Purchased a very large steam excavator (face shovel), designed by A R Grossmith, from Rubery, Owen and Co

1911 The Lime and Cement Businesses were sold to the British Portland Cement Manufacturers

1914 Directors: Halley Stewart, J.P. (Chairman), Percy Malcolm Stewart, J.P. (Managing Director), and Benjamin Christmas Forder, J.P.

1923 Acquired the London Brick Co to form the London Brick Company and Forders.
