1912 17th summer general meeting was held in Cheltenham; J. S. Pickering was president[1]

1915-19 Frederick William McCullough was President.

1920 Fred J. Dixon was President.[2]

1927-8 Herbert Lapworth was President

c.1975 The Institution had become the Institution of Water Engineers and Scientists.

1987 the Institution of Public Health Engineers merged with the Institution of Water Engineers and Scientists and the Institute of Water Pollution Control to form the Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
