1878 Partnership change. '...Copartnership hitherto carried on by the Subscribers under the Firm of INNES & GRIEVE, Wine Merchants, No. 9 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh, has this day been DISSOLVED by mutual consent. The Business will continue to be carried on at the same premises by the Subscribers Symington Grieve and Sommerville Grieve, for their own behalf, under the said Firm Name of INNES & GRIEVE. The new Firm will pay all debts due by the old Firm, and be entitled to receive and discharge all debts due to the old Firm. Dated at Edinburgh the 4th day of October 1878. ELIZA GRIEVE. SYMINGTON GRIEVE. SOMMERVILLE GRIEVE.'[1]

1894 Incorporated as Innes and Grieve Limited, with capital of £100,000.[2]

1937 Voluntary liquidation.

1938 A new business of the same name was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £200, to carry on business as wine, spirit and liqueur merchants at the same address.[3]

This company was dissolved in 2006.[4]
