1886 Mirrors and very fine ... lamp skirts which have been manufactured expressly for this theatre (Grand Theatre and Opera House, Derby) by Messrs. Ingrain and Kemp, ... who lately fitted the Empire Theatre and the New Louavidon Pavilion.[1]

1919 Private company formed as British Brass Fittings to take over the businesses of Ingrain and Kemp, Sperryn and Co, Charles Joyner and Co, and Player and Mitchell.[2]
