1992 Formation of JV between Ingersoll-Rand Co and Dresser Industries - this combined the pump manufacturing businesses of the 2 partners[1]

The UK subsidiary was Ingersoll-Dresser Pumps (UK) Ltd located at Horwich, Bolton[2]

2000 Flowserve Corporation acquired Ingersoll-Dresser Pumps, creating the world's second largest pump manufacturer, including Worthington Corporation, located in Newark which incorporated three pump manufacturing units, the largest of which was the former Worthington Simpson company[3].

2002 Renamed Flowserve Pumps, located in Haywards Heath.
