Indian Railways: Northern Railway

1952 April 14th. Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister of India inaugurated two new zones of the first six zones of the Indian Railways. One of them, the Northern Railway had the three "up-stream" divisions of the East Indian Railway: Allahabad, Lucknow and Moradabad.
