1934 Public company formed to acquire the business of manufacturing Ideal boilers, radiators, etc from National Radiator Co; would use part of the proceeds of share offer to build an additional factory[1]

1937 Listed Exhibitor British Industries Fair. Selection of Ideal Boilers, Radiators, Rayrads, and Accessories for Central Heating and Hot Water Supply. Standard Sanitary Appliances - baths, vitreous chain, lavatories and closets, all made at Ideal Works, Hull. (Stand Nos. B.419 and B.318)

1938 New plant installed to make vitreous china sanitary ware[2]

By 1948 was controlled by American Radiator and Standard Sanitaryware Corporation [3]

1956 Patent - Improvements in or relating to hot water boilers.

1961 Manufacturers of boilers, radiators, heating accessories and plumbing fixtures. Also manufacture sanitary appliances in vitreous china. 2,500 employees.
