Hunt and Brown

From Graces Guide

of the Leys ironworks, Stourbridge

Same as Brown and Hunt of Brockmoor?.......

1837 'EXPLOSION OF A STEAM BOILER.—On Friday, at the ironworks of Messrs. Brown and Hunt, Brockmoor, near Stourbridge, one of the steam-boilers burst, the explosion of which spread devastation around to very considerable distance. One man was killed, and several other persons were scalded and bruised, and we are sorry to hear but little hopes are at present entertained of their recovery. The windows of the different houses and offices connected with the works were all completely blown out. The whole of the premises are a complete wreck. The damages are said to be estimated at £3,000.—Bristol Paper.'[1]
