1922 B.Sc. (Hons., Lond.), Assoc.M.Inst.C.E., Civil Engineer, Castleton, Rhyl, North Wales; b. 1886. Ed. at Rossall School, 1900-3, and University College, London, 1907-10. Apprenticed to John Musgrave and Sons, Bolton, 1903-7. Demonstrator in Mechanical Laboratory, University College, London, 1910; Great Central Railway, Marylebone and Immingham, 1911; Leach's Argentine Estates, 1912-15; Aeronautical Inspection Department, 1916-19; joined the firm of Brunner, Mond and Co., December, 1919. Chief Works: Immingham Dock. Clubs: Public Schools, Rhyl Golf. War Services.—Aeronautical Inspection Department, Royal Air Force. In charge of a group in the Midlands.
