1998 'Horizon Biscuit Co Ltd, a core division of Hillsdown Holdings operates three manufacturing sites in the UK (Moreton, Harlow - Essex, Blackpool - Lancashire). Horizon Biscuits. Horizon Biscuits market some of the best known biscuits in the UK including Cadbury's biscuits (eg. Cadbury Fingers), and Maryland Cookies, together with a broad range of customer label products.[1]

2000 Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst acquired Burton's Gold Medal Biscuits, and merged it with Horizon, Hillsdown Holdings' biscuit business, [2] to form Burton's Foods
