1929 Holo-Krome Screw Corporation was founded by William A. Purtell in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.
1946 Acquired by Veeder-Root.
1954 British subsidiary Holo-Krome Ltd. was incorporated in England as a private company, with capital of £100, on 26 May 1954.[1]
1957 The company opened its factory in Dundee, and in 1964 moved to new and larger premises in the city. In 1965 it opened a new sales office and stock depot in Birmingham.[2]
2010 The company was dissolved.
