1971 Manufacturing Sherpa fork lift trucks at Heston [2]

1972 Bought Dennis Brothers. The company already owned Yorkshire Vehicles and Eagle Engineering Co

1972 Sold the Mercury businesses, acquired with Dennis, to Marshalls (Halifax)[3]

1983 Acquired Duple Motor Bodies

1989 Management buyout of the engineering businesses, including Dennis, was called Trinity Holdings[4]

1989 BET acquired Hestair, which included Atlas personnel services and consumer products[5]
