1966 Announces 10% Scrip issue [1]

1971 Manufacturing Sherpa fork lift trucks at Heston [2]

1972 Bought Dennis Brothers. The company already owned Yorkshire Vehicles and Eagle Engineering Co

1972 Sold the Mercury Truck and Tractor and Mercury Airfield Equipment businesses, acquired with Dennis, to Marshalls (Halifax)[3]

1977 Acquired P. B. Bettinson and Co and Root Harvesters; sold Johnsons of Hendon and Mulden Zoon[4]

1983 Acquired Duple Motor Bodies

1989 Management buyout of the engineering businesses, including Dennis, was called Trinity Holdings[5]

1989 BET acquired Hestair, whose businesses included Atlas personnel services and consumer products such as push chairs[6]
