Hereford Railway

1826 This railway was sanctioned on May 26th, 1826 - 7 Geo. IV., c.100.[1]

Opening in 1829, it filled the 14 mile gap between the Grosmont Railway at Monmouth Cap and the city of Hereford.

In 1846 they were absorbed by the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway (NA&HR)
